Plan purposeful training from Fountain Hills

For families near Golden Eagle, the Palisades corridor or the McDowell foothills, travel along Shea can be an important part of the decision. Tell Fran where you are based and whether a shared appointment with nearby players would help.

Training starts with a clear goal rather than a long list of unrelated drills. Technical repetition builds the movement; decision-based activities help the player recognize when to use it. Local appointments depend on compatible bookings and authorized space.

Meet Coach Francisco “Fran” Lopez

Professional experience.
Personal attention.

Fran knows what it takes to compete—and how to help a young player take the next step.

After competing professionally with the West Michigan Wrath, Fran brought firsthand game experience into a coaching approach grounded in technical detail, tactical understanding and competitive preparation. His technical coaching background began in 2017.

His experience spans individual development, club leadership and the school game. Across those settings, the goal stays consistent: help players understand the game, build reliable skills and approach challenges with confidence.

Parents can expect clear instruction, player motivation and positive reinforcement. Fran connects technical corrections to realistic game situations and gives players purposeful work they can continue between sessions.

Booking & billing: Private training changes require at least 24 hours' notice. Commitment rates require 16 sessions; billing is upfront in 4-session blocks, not a separate 4-session commitment. Fran confirms the schedule, location and full terms before payment. Coach or unsafe-weather cancellations are rescheduled; undeliverable services are refunded.

Founding player offer: First 4 group sessions at $25 each ($100 total), limited to the first 24 players across the Valley who enroll within the first 30 days after launch. Ask Fran about current availability before paying. Try the first session for $25, then pay $75 to complete the introductory block. The introductory 4 sessions do not require a 16-session commitment. If you continue into that commitment, the introductory block counts toward the 16 sessions. Discounts do not stack.

From first conversation to focused practice

See the game.
Understand your next move.

Good coaching helps a player understand the decision behind the skill.

Fran connects technical work with the situations players face in a match: where to look before receiving, how to support a teammate and when to pass, carry or finish.

Clear explanations and positive feedback give each session a purpose. The next step begins with your player's goals.

Questions from parents

Are Golden Eagle or Desert Vista confirmed training sites?

No. Local parks may be useful geographic references, but no reserved Fountain Hills facility is promised here. Fran confirms a suitable, authorized location and time before a session is booked.

What happens during the free skill evaluation?

The evaluation is a starting point to discuss your player’s goals, identify a useful training focus and recommend an appropriate format. Submit the form first; Fran will contact you to discuss availability and arrange the next step. An inquiry does not automatically book an appointment.

How much does private soccer training cost?

A single 60-minute private session is $75. A 16-session commitment is $70 per session ($1,120 total), billed upfront at $280 per four-session block. Specialized groups cost $30 per player for a single session, or $25 with the 16-session commitment ($400 total), billed at $100 per four-session block.

Do we have to commit to 16 sessions?

No. Single sessions are available at the published single-session rates. The lower commitment rates apply to 16 sessions, paid in four-session blocks. The founding-player introductory four-group-session offer is separate and subject to current availability.

Can training help with club preparation?

Yes. Private lessons and small groups can focus on technical execution, tactical scanning, 1v1 decisions and play under pressure. Team clinics focus on unit cohesion and match preparation. Training supports player development; team selection and playing time remain the club’s decisions.

What if we need to cancel or the weather is unsafe?

Give at least 24 hours’ notice for private training changes. Coach or unsafe-weather cancellations are rescheduled rather than consuming a session. Full booking and cancellation terms are confirmed before payment; ask Fran about the options for your chosen program.
